Every year hundreds of airline employees and guests get together for a week of good times and racing at resorts around the country and around the world! The airline ski weeks are a great way to meet fellow airline folks, have a great time, and ski for less!
If you like skiing, snowboarding, or just think you might, we want you to join us. No experience is required. These events are a great environment to learn how to ski or snowboard and have tons of fun with your friends and other fellow airline employees at the same time. Anyone who wants to join is more than welcome!
While the team itself does not offer ski instruction or ski instructors, we are happy to help anyone in equipment rental, finding a qualified, discounted ski school, and help solve any problems along the way. We feel for your safety and the future enjoyment of skiing and/or boarding that there is no better place to learn than in ski school or at our Learn to Ski (better) week hosted by United, Delta, and Northwest.
By the same token, if you love competition, we have your place in the limelight. Whether you ride or ski challenge yourself and your peers within different classes ranging from newcomers to Olympic hopefuls. Results are posted after each week with medals and prizes awarded to individuals and the team. In fact, with just one racer last year, Lucinda Tomko launched Republic Airways Ski Team to the middle of the NAASF field all by her lonesome. With your help think what this year could bring.
Ultimately, we’re all here to have a good time. These events have something for everyone: lots of skiing, tons of great people, and theme parties to bring out your wild side.
